The Fern was founded on Wellness + Community. We were raised in the Sierra Nevadas, traveled the globe and settled in the Matanuska Valley in 2016. Our love for the mountains and forests quickly turned Alaska into our new home. Inspired by the flavors, ingredients and passion of several wellness-based cafes around the world, we realized the need for a place that brought those same elements to the valley. The Fern grew out of that love + inspiration.

The Fern is a wellness-based cafe specializing in serving fresh acai bowls + smoothies. All of our ingredients are thoughtfully sourced with our customer’s best interest in mind. We are proud to represent the city of Palmer and provide healthy + delicious options for our local community.
